Common Questions

Here's what you need to know about investing with us.

You do. Every set we purchase is bought on your behalf and belongs to you. Little Brick Capital handles the sourcing, quality control, and storage, but you retain full ownership of the physical assets.

We use a combination of data models, historical price tracking, theme analysis, and AI-supported research tools. The selection process is based on five years of tested data covering thousands of sets — not personal bias or guesswork. We balance high-upside potential with stability and scarcity to create a diversified portfolio tailored to your budget.

We charge a one-off 5% management fee on the capital you invest. So if you invest £10,000, we take £500, and the remaining £9,500 is used to build your LEGO portfolio. Storage and insurance costs are deducted from the investment amount, upfront, for a three-year period. You can see an illustrative example on our dedicted Fees page

Your LEGO is stored securely in a clean, dry, monitored facility in the UK. We only use professional-grade storage, and everything is insured at full value. Storage is managed so the condition of each box remains pristine, which is key to long-term value.

Ye, if requested. While most investors prefer to leave their sets in storage to protect condition and resale value, you’re free to take delivery at any time. Just give us notice, and we’ll arrange a secure handover or shipment.

Most of the strongest gains happen 2 to 6 years after a set retires. We advise a minimum hold period of 3–5 years to allow your portfolio to mature, but you’re not locked in. You can choose to exit earlier or later depending on your goals and the market.

Returns vary, but well-chosen LEGO portfolios have historically doubled or tripled in value over 4–6 years. Some individual sets have done even better. Based on real client cases and market data, a £50,000 portfolio could reasonably grow to £100,000–£150,000+ depending on how the market performs.

This risk exists, though it’s rare. We mitigate it by avoiding sets in categories LEGO has a history of reissuing, and by diversifying across themes and sizes. Even when a reissue happens, original versions often retain strong value among collectors due to subtle differences or discontinued components.

LEGO collecting and investing is growing rapidly worldwide. There are thousands of active buyers across eBay, BrickLink, Facebook groups, and auction sites. For rare or sealed sets in good condition, liquidity is strong, especially among adult collectors and international buyers.

Yes, absolutely. We have structured processes in place for higher-value portfolios and already work with clients investing six figures. Larger portfolios benefit from greater diversification and allow us to access rare, high-ticket sets that are harder to acquire in smaller batches.
